LOCAL HAITIAN RELIEF EFFORTS CONTINUE IN THE BAY AREA DESPITE THE SLOW DECLINE IN DONATIONS AROUND THE WORLD

Planes Are Secured for Delivery of Goods from Local Organizations and Communities; Volunteers Will Gather at N-E-Where Transport To Sort Supplies and Load Trucks

Tampa, Florida - February 5,2010 - Kalos International, Children With a Vision, The Haitian Education Foundation and N-E-Where Transport will join together again to collect items for Haiti Survivors. The volunteers will pack one to two truck loads to be driven to Miami and shipped by plane/boat to the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Last Friday, nearly 35 volunteers packed medical supplies, non-perishable food items, hygiene products and water onto a large truck for the victims. The items were taken to Miami and crew flown into Haiti on planes last Saturday. N-E-Where Transport has donated a warehouse as a drop off location and storage facility. They've also donated their trucks to transport the collected items to Miami. Despite the reduction of giving, local community groups will continue their relief efforts with another large drive on February 5, 2010 from 10pm-6pm at N-E-Where Transport (3808 E. MLK Blvd.).

•Note: All items with expiration dates must be at least 4 months in date.

2009 Back to School Bash- supply give-away

Children With a Vision,Inc.,successfully supplied over 4,000 kids with back to school supplies. With all of the Sponsor's, supporter, volunteers who help make this event a success, Thank You. Without your continues support over 10 years, I would not have reached over 4,000 kids. Each year, it grow bigger. And to the Athelete's who showed their support. Denim Diamond Fashion Show Fundraiser 12-14-09

Denim Diamond Fashion Show was a sucess. I just want to thank the ladies for a job well done. These young ladies worked diligently for 6 months to put on a Fashion Show for Children With a Vision,Inc.... I just want to thank Tanio Sanders, Lesli Ratcliffe, Nina Henry. And to all the Models, make-up artist, designers and a host of volunteers who devoted their time for the cause of our kids in the community. Once again thank you ladies. The proceeds that you presented to Children With a Vision,Inc will go towards Toys 4 Tots wish list for the physically disabled children.

Feed the Families (Thanksgiving Dinners) 2009

Sunday, 11-22-09 was great day of charitable events of giving back to the community. We had a couple of anonymous sponsors who do not want the recognition of providing 35 families their uncooked meals for Thanksgiving. N-E- Where Transport allowed us to use their place of business for distribution of the meals. Thank you Mr. Amato. I had the the honor from the Attorney and his family to be able to choose the families in our community to receive these dinners. It's times like this when you can come together, and give God thanks. Coming together for a just cause of doing God's work of giving back, and forgetting yourself. I just want to thank the Attorney and his family for being so generous and humble. And especially having the honor of trust to be able to carry out his father's legacy. Thank You.
